The head coach of the German national basketball team, Alex Mumbru, has been hospitalized with a diagnosis of acute infection before the European Championship.
"Report" reports that the press service of the national federation has released information about this.
Mumbru was hospitalized on August 25 and it is unknown when he will fully recover. The team has been temporarily entrusted to assistant coach Alan Ibragimagic.
It should be noted that the German national team will play its first match in the European Championship against Montenegro on August 27. The tournament will be held in Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia and will end on September 14.
