"Quba" player Levan Gogaladze stated that basketball is developing in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that the Georgian legionnaire spoke about this in an interview with the club's press service.
He also compared Azerbaijan with his country:
"In my opinion, more children should be brought to the games. Also, more organized general managers and some steps like this will benefit the league. If we compare the countries, the level of foreign basketball players is almost the same. Because many players who played in Azerbaijan have previously played in Georgia. The difference between the clubs of these two countries is in the discipline in the teams and local players".
Gogaladze answered the question about which team he will play for in the new season:
"We haven't discussed it yet. Time will tell how it will be. I respect our head coach Shahriyar Asgarov and our captain Zaur Pashayev. I always wish them the best".
He also revealed his prediction for the remaining games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League: "I think "Sabah" is still the favorite in the championship fight. Head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis has built a very good team".
