"The opponent stood out and took the lead after our bad turnovers."
Idman.Biz reports that the head coach of the "Lankaran" club, Georgi Kondrusevich, said this in a statement to the team's press service after the match with "Ordu" in the 5th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
He spoke about the reasons for the defeat:
"If we had fulfilled the tasks set completely, not partially, the game could have ended differently. Then we would have had a chance to play better against such an opponent. The opponent stood out and took the lead after our bad turnovers. We made a lot of turnovers and could not change our offensive game in the first half.
The lack of our injured players was felt, and this was especially evident in the fourth quarter. We are currently experiencing an injury problem, which is the result of not being able to hold a full training camp. Nevertheless, we will continue our work."
It should be noted that "Ordu" won the match against "Lankaran" with a score of 91:79.
