"Ganja" basketball team wants to finish the season in the best place. According to Sport24.az, the head coach of the regional representative, Halil Atli, said this in a statement to the club's press service.
The Turkish expert shared his thoughts after the second game of the play-in stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, in which they defeated "Lankaran" with a score of 101:77:
"Our next opponent is "Ordu". Thinking game by game, we will move step by step towards our goal. We want to finish the season in the best place".
H.Atli also congratulated his opponent after today's match:
"Especially, I must congratulate head coach Georgi Kondrusevich. I know that he has been trying to work under difficult conditions for two seasons. They went through difficult times. Nevertheless, the team has come this far. The season is over for them. We continue on our way. We tried to use all our rotation in the game. Everyone contributed to the victory, I am happy".
Let us remind that "Ganja" also beat its opponent in the first match between the teams - 91:55.
