For Fuad Niftaliyev, the 45-year-old basketball player of the "Sumgayit" club, age is just a number.
The experienced player gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He shared his thoughts on his transfer to the representative of the "city of youth":
"If a player is confident and in good shape, why shouldn't he continue? The main thing is self-confidence. For me, age is just a number. Physical fitness is also very important. I also feel in good shape. I will do my best to play."
F. Niftaliyev said that he could continue his career next season as well:
"In the past season, the regulations of 4 legionnaires and one local player did not suit me. But this season, since there is a "3+2" limit in group B, I wanted to play. If it continues like this next season, I can think about it. For now, we will focus on performing well this season. The main thing is not to get injured. We will think about the next season later."
The basketball player also touched upon the game they will play against "Quba" in the III round:
"My first match in the team will be tomorrow. This is an important match for us. We are preparing seriously for this meeting. I hope we will win tomorrow."
