Andreas Zagklis, Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), is pleased with the development of this sport in Azerbaijan.
This was stated by Vugar Azimov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), in an interview with "Report".
He spoke about the FIBA official's visit to Baku:
"Andreas Zagklis came to Baku on a working visit. He wanted to get acquainted with Azerbaijani basketball. He came to our capital from Kazakhstan. During his stay here, he held a number of meetings and current issues were discussed. There were talks about the participation of Azerbaijani clubs in the Champions League, the FIBA Europe Cup and 3x3 basketball. These were productive meetings. The current state of the country's basketball was discussed. In short, general issues were discussed."
