According to the source, after the tournament, the coach flew to Barcelona for a medical examination, and based on its results, the doctors decided to immediately hospitalize him. The Spanish specialist will be treated for acute pancreatitis, followed by gallbladder removal surgery.
It should be noted that Germany, led by Mumbru, defeated the Turkish national team 88:83 in the final of the European Championship and won the tournament for the second time in history.
