Erhan Toker, the head coach of "Absheron Lions," believes that despite their victory over NTD (100:93) in the 13th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, they played their worst game of the season. Sport24.az reports that the expert made a statement to the club's press service about this.
He stated that the team is currently in a difficult situation:
"It was a very difficult week. We could have lost this game. We are in a very bad condition. The reason is injuries and other reasons. Arinze Chidom and Saadettin Donat did not train with the team due to injuries. Gediminas Orelik had family-related health problems. Rasul Mammadzade was poisoned. Lamar has just joined our ranks. We were only able to train with 7-8 players, including the youth. Therefore, the training we did this week was not like preparing for the game at all. This was also evident in the game. We played our worst game of the season. We will try to be in the most prepared state for the next game."
