The coaching staff of the Azerbaijani national teams consisting of youth basketball players has been determined.
Idman.biz reports that U-16 and U-18 boys' and girls' teams have started preparations for the lower divisions of the European Championships.
The coaching staff of the U-18 teams remained unchanged. Polad Hasanov is the assistant coach of Anar Sariyev, the head coach of the boys' national team, while Aygün Eynullayeva will again assist Evren Alkaya in the girls' team.
Anar Hajiyev and Rustam Aliyev became assistants to Erhan Toker, a Turkish coach newly appointed to the position of head coach of the U-16 boys' national team. The head coach, who had a successful season at the "Absheron" club, won the title of European champion with the Turkish U-20 team in 2014.
Aygün Eynullayeva will assist Ferhat Akcan, a Turkish coach newly appointed to the position of head coach of the U-16 girls' national team. The head coach previously worked as an assistant coach at the "Ormanspor" club.
