Legendary NBA player Charles Barkley shared his memories of his US national team teammate Michael Jordan.
İdman.Biz reports that during a meeting with students, Barkley spoke about how he witnessed Jordan's desire to win.
"Michael is crazy. I remember we were preparing for the Olympics, we had to play against Puerto Rico. That morning Michael, David Roberts, coach Chuck Daly and I went to play golf. We went early to finish by noon. Then Daly said: "It's time to go back to the hotel, let's rest before the game." Michael said: "I'm going to play 18 more games."
He was so energetic after 36 games, he destroyed his opponent. He had something special. He wanted to win at all costs. He was like it was a crucial Olympic game, he was screaming and angry. But it was just Puerto Rico," Barkley said.
