The prize-winners of Azerbaijan's U-12, U-14 and U-16 girls' basketball leagues have been determined.
"Report" informs that the press service of the Basketball Federation has released information about this.
The final and third-place matches in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 leagues were held in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
In the final game of the U-12 league, the IOEUGIM-8 team defeated the "AzStars" club with a score of 48:31 and became the champion. The "Birlik" club became the 3rd strongest team in the league with a score of 29:18 over "Ganja".
In the U-14 league final, the AAAF club was stronger than "Ganja" with a score of 59:22 and rejoiced in the championship. The IEOUGIM-8 team defeated "Jalilabad" with a score of 55:26 and became the owner of the 3rd place.
In the final match of the U-16 league, the "AzStars" club was stronger than the IOEUGIM-8 team with a score of 74:32 and won the championship.
The owner of the third place was "Ganja" basketball players, who defeated the AAAF team with a score of 41:45. After the decisive games, the award ceremony took place.
The cups and medals were presented to the winners by the head coach of the Azerbaijani women's national team Evren Alkaya, the head coach of the U-16 girls' national team Ferhat Akcan and the chairman of the Azerbaijani Referees Committee Alakbar Hasanov.
