Bedri Meriç: "Şeki" is focused on the NTD game, not at the same level as "Sabah";

After the game against "Sabah" in the 13th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, "Sheki" head coach Bedri Meriç evaluated the match.

Idman.Biz reports that the expert stated that "Sabah" is a strong opponent and the difference in level between the teams was clearly felt.

According to him, "Sheki" quickly broke away from the game and could not fulfill the planned tasks:

"Sabah" is a difficult opponent for us, unfortunately we are not at the same level. We broke away from the game very easily. In fact, we had some plans against "Sabah", but we couldn't do any of them. After breaking away from the game, we couldn't manage to recover."

Bedri Meriç also emphasized the importance of the next round. He stated that the team is focusing all its attention on the upcoming game with NTD:

"We are preparing very well for the next round match with NTD, we want to win."

The head coach also touched upon the news about the staff. According to him, the new transfer can help the team in the match with NTD:

"Our new transfer will arrive for the match with NTD. Since he knows our game system from last season, he will be able to play even if he trains less."

Meriç added that the club is planning to attract another tall basketball player to the team. However, it does not seem possible to complete that transfer before the game with NTD.

Thus, after a heavy defeat, the "Sheki" team focused on the NTD match, which is considered important in the next round.
