The official launch of the "Basketball Everywhere!" project, implemented by the joint initiative and support of the "Sabah" Basketball Club, "Azerlotereya" OJSC, and the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, has taken place.
The main goal of the project is to make basketball more accessible to everyone, to effectively organize the leisure time of young people, and to carry out the repair and renovation of basketball courts that support their healthy habits and contribute to an active lifestyle. According to the organizers, this initiative will not only contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in neighborhoods but also strengthen social solidarity.
Thus, through the newly created Basketbolheryerde.az website, citizens can register and provide detailed information about areas they consider suitable for a basketball court.
Within the framework of the event, participants had the opportunity to meet professional basketball players, share the same court with them, and participate in master classes. Fun competitions organized for young people were met with interest.
The most exciting moment of the day was the "5 out of 5" competition held for a grand prize of 5,555 manats. Participants demonstrated their skills, team spirit, and love for sports.
It should be noted that "Azerlotereya" makes a significant contribution to the development of basketball in the country. The company also supports the activities of the "Sabah" Basketball Club and the development of local basketball as a sponsor of the team. This cooperation serves to strengthen professional sports and create wider opportunities for young basketball players.
