Azerbaijan's national team of boys' basketball players under 14 has started the "Airom Cup" international tournament held in Atyrau, Kazakhstan with a victory.
This was reported to "Report" by the press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
In addition to the team led by Polad Hasanov, the tournament is also contested by "Ayrom" from Kazakhstan, "Edelweiss" from Kyrgyzstan, "Kutaisi" from Georgia, and "Devon" and "Akhtuba" clubs from Russia.
In its first match, the Azerbaijani national team faced "Edelweiss" and defeated its opponent with a score of 94:13.
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament, which is held in a round-robin system, will be known on June 22.
