Azerbaijan's men's 3x3 basketball team will begin preparations tomorrow for the qualifying stage of the World Championship to be held in Baku.
Head coach of the team, Zaur Pashayev, informed "Report" about this.
He said that they have invited a new basketball player to the coaching staff:
"We will start training tomorrow. Orkhan Hajiyev will join the team on May 17. I am also training, but I don't know if I will play or not. The squad will be determined after we start training as a team. It is important that we win, not who plays. The main thing is that we get out of the group. I know that whoever plays will give their heart and soul."
It should be noted that along with the Azerbaijani men's national team, the national teams of Montenegro, Canada, Great Britain, Rwanda and Iran will compete in the competition. The best 3 teams of the qualifying stage will get the right to participate in the main stage of the World Championship.
