Coaches of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation have achieved another success in the international arena.
Idman.Biz reports that coaches of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, Laman Ibrahimova and Ilham Agayev, successfully participated in the International Coaching Course (ICC) organized at the Hungarian University of Sports Science.
During the 8-week course, held with the support of the International Olympic Committee's "Olympic Solidarity" program, both specialists gained international experience, successfully completed the program, and were awarded with relevant certificates.
Coach Ilham Agayev, who works in the UGBL U-13 league, and Laman Ibrahimova, the head coach of the "Ordu" club in the U-12 basketball league, who also works at the Baku Basketball Academy, represented our country internationally through this course. Laman Ibrahimova also went down in history as the first Azerbaijani coach to be admitted to the International Coaching Course.
It should be noted that the program makes an important contribution to the professional development of local coaches, and is also of particular importance for the future prospects of Azerbaijani basketball.
