The Azerbaijan national men's basketball team played its first match in the qualifying round for the 2029 European Championship.
According to Idman.Biz, the team, coached by Tahir Bakshiyev, faced North Macedonia in Group A.
The match held in Skopje ended with an 87:49 victory for the opponent.
It should be noted that the national team will host Luxembourg in Baku on November 30.
