The Azerbaijan national team, consisting of individual basketball players, has played its last game in the initial qualifying round of the 2029 European Championship. According to Sport24.az, the team, led by head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev, hosted the Ireland team in the VI round.
The match, held at the Baku Sports Palace, ended with a 76:70 victory for the opponent.
The Azerbaijan team was unable to secure a ticket to the next round.
