The "Airom Cup" international basketball tournament has started in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijan is represented in the competition by the national team of boys under 14, led by Polad Hasanov.
In addition to our national team, the tournament is also attended by the club teams "Ayrom" from Kazakhstan, "Kutaisi" from Georgia, "Edelweiss" from Kyrgyzstan, "Devon" and "Akhtuba" from Russia.
Our basketball players faced "Edelweiss" in the first game and won with a score of 94:13.
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament, which will last until June 22, will be determined after the round-robin games.
