Azerbaijan's men's basketball team played its next game in the EuroBasket 2029 qualifiers.
"Report" reports that the team, coached by Tahir Bakhshiyev, lost to North Macedonia with a score of 70:78.
The match was held at the Baku Sports Hall.
Previously, the Azerbaijani national team lost to North Macedonia (49:87) and Luxembourg (90:95) but defeated Ireland (76:75).
In Group A, North Macedonia leads with 8 points. Luxembourg is second with 5 points, and the Azerbaijani national team with the same number of points is third. Ireland, which lost all games, is in fourth place with 3 points.
