The Annual National Instructor Clinic (ANIC 2025) organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) was held in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Idman.biz reports that our country was represented at the event by international referee Alakbar Hasanov.
Within the framework of the clinic, Alakbar Hasanov spoke about local refereeing in official games held during the year, and also informed the event participants about refereeing seminars held within the country.
During the international meeting, the new rules to be applied in the upcoming basketball season and their impact on refereeing were discussed in detail. At the same time, methodological recommendations were given to referees on the content and main directions of seminars to be organized for local referees in the 2025/26 season.
It should be noted that this clinic organized by FIBA serves to uniformly implement international basketball rules, increase the professional training of referees, and strengthen the exchange of experience between countries.
