"Absheron Lions" will make some changes in defense before today's match against Poland's "Trefl" in the main stage of the FIBA Europe Cup. Sport24.az reports that this was stated by head coach Erhan Toker in his statement to the club's press service.
He said that there is no problem with the attack:
"After the last game, we had 2 days to prepare for this match. We will make some changes in defense. Hopefully, we will get a good result. We have no problem with the attack. We are not scoring few points. If we organize the defense properly, our chances of winning will increase."
The expert also touched upon the game of another Azerbaijani club, "Neftchi":
"As for the "Neftchi" - "Kalev" game, I congratulate "Neftchi". They played well. Despite missing many free throws, they made a good impression in "3-point" shots. I think our game was a good example for them. I congratulate them again."
It should be noted that the match will start today at 19:00 at the Baku Sports Palace. "Absheron Lions" lost to "Kalev" in the first match - 85:93.
