"Absheron Lions" could have won by a larger margin.
"Report" reports that Erhan Toker, head coach of the "Absheron Lions" basketball team, said this at a press conference after the first game of the first qualifying round of the European Cup against "Anorthosis" (Cyprus).
He commented on the match they won:
"We could have won by a larger margin. We want to fix some things. We will work on it. Maybe they couldn't analyze us well. We played well in attack and defense. The current goal is to leave Cyprus with a victory as well. Then we will make plans for the future. Our young players are developing."
It should be noted that the "Absheron Lions" - "Anorthosis" game held at the Baku Sports Palace ended with a score of 89:73 in favor of our representative. The second match between the teams will be held on October 1 in Limassol.
