"Absheron Lions" Faces "Anorthosis" in the European Cup: Debut Game

Azerbaijan's "Absheron Lions" basketball club will play its first game today in the first qualifying round of the FIBA Europe Cup.

Idman.biz reports that the team will host Cyprus's "Anorthosis" (Famagusta) club.

The game will start at 19:00 at the Baku Sports Hall.

The return match will be held in Cyprus a week later.

Note that the match will be the debut of the "Absheron Lions" club in European cups.
