The jersey worn by 19-year-old Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg in the first half of his NBA debut game has been sold at auction for a record price of $1 million.
"Report" reports with reference to ESPN that this is the highest amount paid for a rookie jersey in league history.
The previous record belonged to San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama ($762,000).
Cooper Flagg played his first official NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs on October 23, 2025. In that match, he stood out with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Flagg also entered NBA history as the youngest basketball player to score 40 points in a game this season.
It should be noted that currently, the Dallas Mavericks are in 12th place in the Western Conference with 19 wins and 35 losses.
