The next European Wrestling Championship will start tomorrow in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that after the U17 age group, the U15 continental championship will be held in the same venue. Members of our national team in all 3 wrestling disciplines will represent our country in the responsible competition, which will last until May 24.
The Greco-Roman wrestling team includes Huseyn Amrahli (38 kg), Khudayar Kerimov (41 kg), Pasha Aslan (44 kg), Punhan Shahmarov (48 kg), Rasul Ahmadli (52 kg), Sadiq Valizade (57 kg), Raul Mammadzade (62 kg), Ibrahim Mammadzade (68 kg), Suleyman Verdiyev (75 kg) and Fikret Baxshaliyev (85 kg). They will compete under the guidance of head coach Taleh Mammadov, coaches Ilham Vezirov, Azad Aliyev and Fuad Aydinli.
In the girls' competition, Ulviyya Musayeva (33 kg), Gulay Khasmammadova (36 kg), Nargiz Jafarzade (39 kg), Leyla Asgarova (42 kg), Madina Karimova (46 kg), Gunel Karimli (50 kg), Laman Aliyeva (54 kg), Zarifa Alizade (58 kg), Aylin Hasanli (62 kg) and Fatima Gaygiyeva (66 kg) will compete under the guidance of head coach Maria Stadnik, coaches Rovshan Umudov and Solmaz Adilova.
Under the leadership of head coach Namig Guliyev, coaches Elshad Allahverdiyev, Khagan Suleymanov and Emin Azizov, Yusif Abdullayev (38 kg), Elman Ismayilov (41 kg), Muhammad Kerimov (44 kg), Ali Baloglanov (48 kg), Adem Guliyev (52 kg), Yilmaz Samadov (57 kg), Yusif Huseynov (62 kg), Yusif Badalov (68 kg), Khayal Shukurlu (75 kg) and Elvin Najafzade (85 kg) will try to succeed among freestyle wrestlers.
In addition to our international referees Sevinj Yusibova and Samil Fattayev, national category Nihad Muradov will also ensure justice at the U15 European Championship.
