The U-23 World Championship continues in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Our athlete Elmir Aliyev, wrestling in the 55 kg weight category, defeated Iranian Armin Shamsipurhaji by "fall" in the semi-final and advanced to the final of the World Championship.
It should be noted that Ziya Babashov (63 kg) also reached the final. He will face Vitali Yeryomenko from Moldova in the final.
Lachin Veliyev (87 kg) will wrestle American Payton Jacobson for the bronze medal.
