Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Magomedkhan Magomedov gave no chance to any of his opponents at the Soslan Andiyev Memorial Tournament, a two-time Olympic champion, in Vladikavkaz, Russia. The national team member said he would stay in his current weight.
"I had five matches in the competition and gave almost no chance to any of my opponents. I wrestled at 125 kg for the first time. I defeated a Hungarian athlete in the final and took first place. Then I had a match in the absolute weight category. Here, my Dagestani opponent could not wrestle to the end due to a problem with his leg. I think my current weight is normal and I will continue like this for now," he said in a statement to "Report".
It should be noted that M. Magomedov tried himself at 125 kg for the first time and won a gold medal at the Soslan Andiyev Memorial Tournament, a two-time Olympic champion, in Vladikavkaz.
