Yulia Karimova, the libero of the Azerbaijani women's volleyball team, shared her impressions of the team's preparation process for the Golden European League. Sport24.az reports that this information was released by the press service of the Volleyball Federation.
She said that the mood in the team is high:
"We started preparations for the Golden European League in Baku, and then we went to Slovenia. There, we held a training camp together with the Slovenian national team, as well as a test match against an American club. The mood in the team is high. Now our preparations continue in Greece. Several test matches are planned here. These matches are important both in terms of strengthening tactical preparation and strengthening the team. We will start the fight in the Golden European League on May 30 in Baku. I have great faith that the team will succeed. Our goal is to proudly wave our flag."
It should be noted that the national team will hold its first games in the Golden European League in Baku. In these matches, which will take place on May 30 and June 1, the opponents will be the Hungarian and Slovenian teams.
