Azerbaijan national volleyball player Mardan Mammadov assessed the chances before the games they will hold in the first round of the Silver European League.
The blocker gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He said that the Swedish national team is more experienced than the opponents they will face:
"This year our team mainly consists of young players. There are also several experienced volleyball players in the squad. The mood in the team is high. Everyone is looking forward to the games with excitement. We won both test matches we held in Georgia. These victories are very important to us. Because we will face Georgia in the first round of the Silver European League. At the same time, we will meet the hosts - the Swedish national team. This team consists of more experienced players. I hope we can show a good game and win."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will play its first matches in the Silver European League on June 6-8 in Sweden. The opponents of the team led by Farid Jalalov will be the Georgian national team, along with the host team.
