It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Abdolbari Gozal, a philanthropist businessman, founder of "Azersun Holding," and honorary president of "Qarabag" FK, who was awarded the "Shohrat" Order, the "Tereggi" Medal, and dozens of local and global awards by the head of state for his significant contributions to the development of the Azerbaijani economy. He served as the president of our club from 2001-15 and as honorary president from 2015-2025. During these years, our team became the Azerbaijani champion 10 times and won the national cup 7 times.
