After the "Qarabag" - "Shamakhi" match (3:2) of the XIX round of the Misli Premier League, a press conference of our team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov was held. The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match:
"We started the second part of the championship. Since it was the first game after the winter break, it was not easy to have a fast, dynamic, and entertaining fight. But we won an important victory. I thank each of our fans who supported us in the cold weather. I was worried about conceding two goals. Such simple goals should not be conceded. Sometimes the goals conceded in such matches are also very useful. We must be more careful during the game."
The head coach also spoke about the match against Romanian club FCSB on January 23 as part of the UEFA Europa League League stage: "The Romanian club is a very tough team. They have a disciplined playing style. They are able to defend with 10 people in the center of the field. They are physically strong, go on fast counter-attacks, and are a team that makes good use of standard situations. As a true European team, they know how to play purely for results. Again, we will try to be more active in the upcoming match."
