Gurban Gurbanov: "It was a useful game"

A press conference was held with the head coach of our team, Gurban Gurbanov, after the test match "Qarabağ" - "Kapaz" (5:1). The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match:

"We have gathered for a very short time. We tried to make the players feel like they were in an official game. We gave each of them the opportunity to play for 45 minutes. We instructed them not to rush, to be a little careful. The second half of the championship will start on January 17th. We don't have much time to prepare. In the current situation, preparing players for games at high speed would be a big risk. I think it was a useful game. I thank the management and head coach of "Kapaz" for accepting our offer. We will try to prepare the team for the upcoming official matches."

The head coach also provided information about the latest condition of the injured players: "Badavi Huseynov has not yet started training with the team. Today we created conditions for Bahlul Mustafazade and Marko Vesovic to play for 20-25 minutes. Abdullah Zubir had a fever. That's why he didn't go to training with the team. Aleksey Isayev, who underwent surgery, is with the team. In general, we believe that everything will be fine by the end of the month."

Gurban Gurbanov also gave advice to the young players of the academy who are involved in the main team: "Several players from the academy often participate in training with us. I think they should work harder on themselves. They are motivated and hardworking. They need to be more careful."
