The medals for the World University Games, which will be held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany, have been presented.

The dynamic shape of the medal reflects the movement, diversity and aspirations of the young generation striving to fulfill their dreams.
234 sets of awards will be presented to their owners at the Universiade, and a total of about 2150 medals will be made.
The medal box also has a deep symbol. Its angular appearance is inspired by the region's mining heritage, and the six contours represent the host cities. The interior is intimate and hospitable - just like the Ruhr region itself. The flowing lines evoke the landscape of spoil heaps and waterways, and the 18-point crown symbolizes sporting excellence and diversity of disciplines.
Note that the Azerbaijani team will also participate in the Universiade, which will be held from July 16 to 27.
