Canadian three-time Olympic champion Summer McIntosh has set a new world record in the 400m freestyle.
According to "Report", the 18-year-old athlete covered the distance in 3 minutes 54.18 seconds at a competition held in Canada.
The previous world record (3 minutes 55.38 seconds) belonged to Australian four-time Olympic champion Ariarne Titmus.
McIntosh also holds another world record. At the age of 16, she distinguished herself in the 400m individual medley (4 minutes 24.38 seconds).
