Another farewell to the four-time Olympic champion

Four-time Olympic champion in cross-country skiing, Therese Johaug, will not compete at the Winter Olympics in 2026.

Idman.biz reports that the Norwegian athlete announced this herself.

Therese, who ended her career in 2022, returned to competition in 2024 to compete in the World Championships held in her native Trondheim this year. She finished the championship with 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. The 36-year-old skier announced the end of her career on her social media account.

It should be noted that the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy) from February 6-22 next year.
