Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) and Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) are implementing a joint training and licensing program to improve the knowledge and skills of coach-teachers in the country. Sport24.az reports that the next stage of the program will take place in July, and large-scale trainings will be organized for judo coaches for levels I, II and III.
The trainings will focus on technical and tactical skills, training planning, competition analysis, psychological and physical preparation, as well as knowledge of international competition rules.
It should be noted that within the framework of this cooperation, the first trainings on the "Coach Skills" module were successfully completed on June 10-13, hosted by ASA. This module focuses on the development of coaches' pedagogical, psychological and communicative skills. Judo coaches participating in the training program have become familiar not only with technical and tactical knowledge, but also with modern coaching skills such as facilitation, motivation, audience management, communication and body language.
These trainings of ASA and ACF are considered as a long-term strategic development platform not only for existing coaches, but also for those who want to work in the field of education and coaching in the future.
