The composition of the Azerbaijani women's judo team, which will participate in the "Grand Slam" tournament to be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, has been announced.
"Report" informs that according to the calendar of the International Judo Federation, the team will be represented by 3 judokas in 3 weight categories under the leadership of head coach Sasha Herkenrat-Vimar in the competition to be held on May 9–11.
Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg) will try to overcome their opponents.
It should be noted that 397 athletes (222 men, 175 women) from 47 countries will participate in the three-day competition.
