"Barcelona" has reached an agreement with Frenkie de Jong, whose contract with the club expires next summer. Sport24.az reports that the Spanish champion will sign a new contract with the Dutch midfielder.

The La Liga giant will sign a new 2+1 year contract with de Jong. The 28-year-old player's salary will be reduced. The experienced footballer will receive an annual salary of 9 million euros with the new contract.
It should be noted that "Barcelona" transferred Frenkie de Jong from "Ajax" in the summer of 2019. The member of the Netherlands national team scored 2 goals and 2 assists in 56 official matches he played for the Catalan representative last season.
