The Norwegian national team will host Israel on October 11 as part of the DÇ-2026 qualifying stage. Sport24.az reports that the Norwegian Football Association has announced that the proceeds from the match against Israel will be donated to help the Palestinian people.
The president of the organization, Lise Klaveness, shared her thoughts on this: "Neither we nor any other organization can remain indifferent to the suffering caused by the humanitarian crisis and the disproportionate attacks that the civilian population of Gaza has been subjected to for a long time. We want to donate the proceeds to a humanitarian organization that saves lives every day in Gaza and provides active emergency assistance on the ground."
