A new transfer record has been set in women's football.
İdman.biz reports that the US club "Orlando Pride" has signed Lizbeth Jacqueline Ovalle for $1.5 million (£1.1 million).
The Mexican winger was transferred from "Tigres". Jacqueline has signed a 2+1 year contract. Ovalle has scored 20 goals in 81 appearances for the Mexican national team.
It should be noted that the previous record transfer was recorded in England. The last winner of the Champions League, "Arsenal", paid £1 million for the transfer of Olivia Smith from "Liverpool".
