An international judo tournament dedicated to the memory of Vasily Oshepkov among juniors was held in Khabarovsk, Russia. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijan was represented by 5 athletes in the competition. Our team finished the tournament with 1 gold and 1 bronze medal.
Polad Hasanli (-81 kg) won all his matches and became the gold medalist. Zamaddin Bagirov (-66 kg) took third place on the podium.
About 300 judokas from 13 countries competed in the tournament.
