Reason for Hidayat Heydarov's removal from European Championship not disclosed
There has been a change in the composition of the Azerbaijani national team that will compete in the European Championship.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced by the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Hidayat Heydarov, Olympic, world and four-time European champion, was withdrawn from the team by the decision of doctors due to illness. He will be replaced by Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg) at the European Championship.
It should be noted that the European Judo Championship among adults will be held in Montenegro on April 23-27. The country will be represented by 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) in the tournament.
