The opening ceremony of the new hall of the "Lion" Judo Club was held in Baku.
İdman.biz reports that the event was attended by Natig Bagirov, advisor to the President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF), Agayar Akhundzade, member of the ACF Executive Committee, manager for domestic competitions, Elkhan Mammadov, senior coach of the men's national team, famous athletes and guests.
The hall is equipped with tatami mats by the ACF in accordance with modern standards. The venue, with a total area of 300 sq.m, has a waiting area for parents, as well as coaching and changing rooms. The hall has all the conditions for 50 athletes to practice judo at the same time.
