The European Judo Championships among youths continue in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
Idman.biz reports that the individual competitions will conclude on the third day of the competition.
The Azerbaijani national team has finished its performance in this competition. 4 of our judokas who stepped on the tatami finished the day without medals.
Boys
90 kg
Aslan Kotsoyev (Azerbaijan) won against Levente Kiss (Hungary) in the 1/16 finals, but then lost to Luka Javakhishvili.
100 kg
Davud Namazli (Azerbaijan) lost to Ivan Titinkin (IJF) in the 1/16 finals.
Ramazan Ahmadov (Azerbaijan) could not cope with Yannis Antoniou (Cyprus) in the 1/8 finals.
Girls
78 kg
Nigar Suleymanova (Azerbaijan) lost to Emma-Melis Aktas (Estonia) in the 1/8 finals.
Thus, our national team finished the competition with 2 gold and 1 bronze medals. Nihad Mamishov (60 kg) and Muhammad Musayev (66 kg) won gold medals, and Nizami Imranov (66 kg) won a bronze medal.
It should be noted that the team competition will be held tomorrow at the European Championship.
