Another judoka from Azerbaijan has won a bronze medal at the European Championships held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Sport24.az reports that Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) won the bronze medal.
He defeated Moldovan Petru Pelivan in the match for third place.
Earlier, Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) and Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented by a total of 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) in 12 weight categories at the European Championship. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
