The winners of the competitions in the junior age category at the 30th national rhythmic gymnastics championship held at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex have been determined. Sport24.az reports that on the first day of the competition, gymnasts in the junior age category performed their routines without apparatus, with hoops and clubs.
Among the gymnasts born in 2017, Leyli Gayibli from the "Ocaq Sport" Club took first place, Miray Hasanaliyeva from the Water Sports Palace took second place, and Nuray Dolchayeva from Sumgayit OIC took third place.
Among the gymnasts born in 2016, Zeynəb İsmayılova from the "Ocaq Sport" Club won gold, Suel Kasimova won silver, and Aylin Gozalova won bronze.
Among the gymnasts born in 2015, Mira Ozel from the "Ocaq Sport" Club won gold, Amina Sadikhova from the Water Sports Palace won silver, and Nilay Punhanli from the "Ocaq Sport" Club won bronze.
Among the junior group exercises teams, the gymnasts of the "Ocaq Sport" Club won gold and silver medals in the apparatus-free program, and the Absheron OIC won bronze. The "Ocaq Sport" Club won the top three in the all-around and 5 rope programs.
It should be noted that the competition, which will conclude today, is a test event before the III CIS Games. 130 gymnasts from 13 clubs representing different regions of our country are participating in the competition. Gymnasts perform in individual and group exercises programs with hoops, balls, ribbons, and clubs in the junior, adolescent, and youth age categories.
