It has been reported that young Italian golfer Emanuel Galeppini died in a fire that broke out in a bar in Cran-Montana, Switzerland. Sport24.az reports that Emanuel Galeppini was identified among the victims of the fire. He was only 16 years old.
The Italian Golf Federation confirmed the young athlete's death on social media.
The incident occurred on New Year's Eve. According to the Valais cantonal police, approximately 40 people died and 115 were seriously injured in the fire.
