"The Azerbaijani minifootball team is known as a brand team in Europe."
This was stated by Vali Gafarov, the goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national minifootball team, in his statement to "Report".
The experienced goalkeeper commented on the national team's victory at the World Championship held in Baku:
"It is a great impression to finish the World Cup as a champion. I congratulate our football players, the Azerbaijani people, the leadership and everyone who supported us. It was truly a magnificent organization and a great result in the end. Victory and joy suit the Azerbaijani people very well. We believe that we will be able to maintain our position at the top for years to come. The Azerbaijani minifootball team is a brand like the teams of Romania, Czech Republic and Serbia. Everyone already knows our strength. I believe that the current and future generations will properly appreciate the value of this."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won the World Cup by defeating Hungary 4:2 in the final.
