Durul Tuğ, the head coach of the Turkish national minifootball team, shared his thoughts on the World Championship held in Baku.
The expert gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He shared his views on the first match of Group C, which they drew (1:1) with Hungary:
"The Turkish national team has come to the competition with a different squad this time. We are now taking these competitions more seriously. We want to do good things. We saw this in the first match. Hungary is a very good opponent. This draw was important. It is a valuable draw for Turkish minifootball".
The head coach spoke about the organization in Baku:
"There is a magnificent organization here, everything is at a high level. We have participated in many tournaments. It is completely different in your country. We want more support from the Azerbaijani people. We feel like we are in Turkey in the hotel, on the street and in other places. Thank you for that. But I want to see it in the stands as well. Your support is important to us".
He also spoke about his goals in the tournament:
"We have not been able to get out of the group in the World Championship so far. We intend to move forward step by step. Our first goal is to get out of the group".
